What is Direct Primary Care? This approach gives you direct access to your provider via text and you don't have to question what insurance is doing with your premium. This allows your provider to give you a more indepth evaluation. You pay a monthly fee that gives you access to unlimited provider messages and follow up visits at a small cost, usually lower than most co-pays. Direct Primary Care does NOT use insurance, however we encourage you to use your insurance plan to cover the cost of medications, labs, or diagnostic tests ordered. Direct Primary Care works well for those with high deductible health insurance plans.
